Sam has crafted the Skills42 offering, bringing together all of the component parts needed to bring it to life. With over 25-years experience in strategic growth, transformation, social impact & impact interventions Sam is well placed to lead the business.
Sam’s experience includes Investment Banking, Family Offices & Consulting across sectors including Public Services, Fleet & Specialist Equipment, Mining, Manufacturing, Facilities Management & Government Interventions. Clients include LaFarge Holcim, Coope Tire, McLaren, Babcock, Serco, LFB, Sopra Steria & UK Government.
Since 2010 Sam has advised, and lobbied, Government to adopt a more innovative & sustainable approach to solving key societal challenges including school exclusions, long-term unemployment & recidivism and how impact investing can play a key role in addressing these. He has crafted the Skills42 ethos and offering having witnessed first-hand the negative impact that a lack of investment into quality interventions has on individuals and their communities.
A man of action, Sam stood for election as an independent councillor in 2019 to challenge the political norm and stand up for small businesses in his town – he won. Outside of work he is a Magistrate and a keen sportsman, partaking in & watching running, cycling, rugby, golf & NFL.
